José Braga is a senior entrepreneur, very focused, pragmatic, and results oriented, with more than 25 years of experience in corporate restructurings, valuations, structured finance operations, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and Initial Public Offerings (IPO), holding leadership positions in large international consulting companies and investment banks.

About
Jose was born in Niteroi, a city nearby Rio de Janeiro city and received his education in Brazil and United States. He was awarded a master’s in business administration - MBA degree at Ross Business School at The University of Michigan. With over 25 years of experience holding leadership positions in international consulting companies and Investment Banks, Jose is a seasoned senior executive leading structured finance transactions at different sectors of the economy, such as, telecom, pulp & paper, and toll road.
In previous professional experiences, Jose was a partner at PwC in the Corporate Finance area, leader of the Business Recovery Services and Debt & Capital Advisory practices, in addition to leading the South East Asia Desk platform and the relationship with Sovereign Funds. José also held positions of Senior Vice President in investment banks in the Mergers and Acquisitions areas of Banco Espírito Santo de Investimento and Unibanco. Jose was also a Partner of the Debt & Equity practice at KPMG.
