John Huang brings over 20 years of rich experience in the banking and consulting industries, with a specialization in credit risk management and advanced analytics. He has led numerous projects in risk model development and validation, business strategy design, capital allocation, and the creation of credit lifecycle processes for leading banks in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan. Recently, John has focused on generative AI, big data models, machine learning approaches, marketing analytics, and profit optimization.

Prior to joining Hylman as a Senior Partner in China, John worked at McKinsey, where he concentrated on digital transformation and advanced analytics to enhance client profitability. Before joining McKinsey, John served as General Manager and head of the Innovation Lab at Experian Greater China. In this capacity, he led teams in delivering customized project consulting, big data analytics, and machine learning modeling for banks, financial institutions, auto lenders, internet finance companies, and consumer finance firms.

Prior to his role at Experian, John gained valuable experience at Moody's Analytics, FICO, and HSBC. He has extensive knowledge and expertise in retail banking, SME lending, and large-corporate credit risk management. Additionally, John is an expert in ICAAP and advanced operational risk models and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
