He holds a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology Management and is certified by esteemed professional bodies, including EC-Council as a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), ISACA as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), PMI as a Project Management Professional (PMP), and The Open Group as a TOGAF-certified professional.

Prior to joining Hylman Consulting as Senior Partner for the ASEAN region, Fairuz accumulated over 20 years of experience with global telecommunications companies and leading consulting firms such as KPMG and Deloitte SEA. His advisory portfolio highlights his profound expertise and success in the TMT industry, underscored by the successful delivery of iconic projects across both private and public sectors.

Fairuz has made substantial contributions to the industry throughout his career, earning numerous prestigious accolades. He played a pivotal role in spearheading technology and technical code guidelines initiatives for Malaysia and regional forums.
