Ohio commenced his working career in the banking/financial services industry where he attained the lofty height of Executive Director. Beyond a flourished banking career, he excelled as a consummate and passionate business builder who has revived several African and international businesses by strategically restructuring, repositioning and ultimately transforming notable companies and conglomerates that have become reference points on the Africa continent! 

On the role of Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer (COO), Ohio Ifiabor anchored the transformation train of Nigeria’s oldest, largest and most capitalised non-aligned mortgage banking institution, and attracted the World Bank (International Finance Corporation - IFC) and FMO (a first-rate funding institution in Europe) to invest substantially therein, thereby becoming the first mortgage bank in Nigeria to hold private equity capital.

Ohio Ifiabor has achieved numerous performance awards during his meritorious working career, as well as acquired substantial experience in strategic business turnaround and board management, particularly in the entrenchment of corporate governance structures for optimum performance and effectiveness. 

Prior to joining the Hylman as a Partner in Nigeria, Ohio was an accomplished Strategy & Business Transformation Consultant to emerging conglomerates and brands across Nigeria and the entire continent of Africa.
